An 18-year-old girl, Fatima Dalha, has allegedly stabbed her 30-year-old husband in the abdomen throughout a disagreement over cash and private belongings in Dass Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
The incident reportedly occurred at about 6am on Sunday in Lirr Bajar, the place the couple reportedly engaged in an argument over cash, wrappers and a cellular phone the lady claimed belonged to her.
The Bauchi State Police Command in an announcement issued on Sunday stated the disagreement escalated right into a bodily struggle, throughout which Fatima allegedly picked up a knife and stabbed her husband.
The injured man was stated to have being rushed to a hospital by police operatives from the Dass Division and is at the moment receiving remedy.
The police have detained Fatima and recovered the knife allegedly used in the assault.
