The National Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Bauchi State for the 2027 normal elections, Barrister Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim, has resigned his membership of the occasion with rapid impact.
Kashim introduced his resignation in a letter dated October 16, 2026, addressed to the chairman of the NDC in Bauchi native authorities space of Bauchi State which was made out there to Journalists on Monday.

“I hereby formally tender my resignation from the National Democratic Congress (NDC), effective from the date of this letter,” he said.

Kashim, a former Secretary to the Bauchi State Government (SSG) beneath Governor Bala Abdukadir Mohammed’s administration, was among the many 15 governorship candidates just lately listed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the 2027 normal elections within the state.
Recall that the NDC had introduced Ibrahim Muhammad Kashim as its governorship candidate, with Tata Alhaji as his working mate, for the 2027 governorship election in Bauchi State.
