The Bauchi State Police Command has arrested four men over alleged rape, defilement and sexual exploitation involving three women aged 10, 11 and 12, and a 20-year-old lady described by the police as susceptible.
The incidents had been reported in Ningi, Azare, Shira and Bauchi metropolis between October 8 and 10, 2026, based on a press release issued on Sunday by the command’s Police Public Relations Officer, SP Nafiu Habib.
In the primary case, police arrested a 50-year-old man, recognized as Musa Ibrahim, popularly referred to as Musa Fawa, over the alleged defilement of a 10-year-old woman in Gadar Maiwa village, Ningi Local Government Area.

In Shira Local Government Area, police arrested a 40-year-old man, recognized as Abdullahi Sule, over the alleged defilement of a 12-year-old woman in Dago village.
The incident was reported by the sufferer’s father at Yana Police Division on October 8.
“Investigation revealed the suspect had lured the victim about four times with N500 each time,” the police stated.
The command added that the sufferer had been rescued and brought for medical care, whereas the suspect was arrested.
In the fourth case, a 55-year-old man, recognized as John Madaki, was arrested over the alleged rape of a 20-year-old lady described by the police as having an mental incapacity.

Reacting to the incidents, the Commissioner of Police, Sani-Omolori Aliyu, condemned the alleged offences and ordered the quick switch of all four instances to the State Criminal Investigation Department for additional investigation and prosecution.
The commissioner described the incidents as “abominable and inhuman acts,” based on the assertion.
The command reiterated its dedication to combating sexual and gender-based violence, notably offences involving kids and susceptible individuals.
