The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has launched the listing of candidates cleared to contest seats within the varied State Houses of Assembly within the 2027 common elections.
The listing signed by the Commission’s secretary, Rose Oriaran-Anthony, incorporates candidates nominated by political events to contest the state legislative seats throughout the federation.
The ultimate listing was revealed on October 10, 2026, forward of the February 6, 2027 governorship and State Houses of Assembly elections.
