The National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) has busted operations of illegal NIN enrolment centres and arrested scores in Abuja and different areas.
NIMC, via its Inspectorate Compliance and Enforcement Unit (ICEU), stated it stepped up its crackdown on the illegal centres for unauthorised knowledge modification and extortion.
NIMC in a press release on Monday stated its current enforcement operation in Gwagwalada and different areas had led to a number of arrests and the seizure of illegal enrolment tools.
