Former lawmaker, who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Shehu Sani, has revealed why distinguished clerics are being assassinated within the North.
In a submit on his verified X deal with on Tuesday, Sani mentioned all of the distinguished clerics which have been assassinated within the North within the final fifteen years have three common factors that undoubtedly led to their elimination.
He listed the three common factors as talking out towards extremism, advocating for inter-religious tolerance and peace, and mentioning the names of terror leaders or teams of their sermons.
According to him, in 2011, ex-(*3*) Olusegun Obasanjo and he privately went to Maiduguri to provoke a dialogue for peace.
