The governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in Zamfara State, Bilyaminu Yusuf Shinkafi, has condemned the latest bandit assault in Kaura Namoda, calling for pressing motion to guard residents.
Shinkafi expressed condolences to the households of these killed and criticised the state authorities’s response to insecurity, alleging that it had didn’t show the urgency wanted to guard lives and property.
“The people of Zamfara deserve to live without fear. The loss of innocent lives must never become normal, and the suffering of our communities must no longer be treated as business as usual,” he mentioned.
He pledged to make security a prime precedence if elected governor, promising to strengthen collaboration with security companies, enhance intelligence gathering and introduce measures to guard weak communities.
