A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Dan Ulasi has mentioned it would take extraordinary efforts to defeat President Bola Tinubu within the 2027 common election.
Ulasi described Tinubu as one in all Nigeria’s most strategic politicians, warning opposition events towards underestimating his political energy forward of the subsequent presidential election.
He spoke on Friday whereas fielding questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show.
According to him, whereas some members have been expressing confidence that Atiku had already gained the election, he challenged their optimism, insisting that that they had not accomplished sufficient political groundwork to assure victory.
Ulasi mentioned: “You know, in 2023, I mentioned on this platform that if anyone takes President Tinubu as a right, you might be doing it at your personal peril. He’s some of the strategic politicians on this nation.
“When he (Tinubu) was arising, we had an emergency assembly someplace.
“You know, Atiku, all people was there, and other people, governors and so they have been saying ‘you (Atiku), have won, you have won. You have won already’.
“I mentioned you should be jokers. And they mentioned I need to depart the assembly. I mentioned if I depart this assembly, all people will stroll out right here, and I received up.
