The Oyo State authorities has disclosed that it’s going to spend a complete of N1,711,200,000 for the forthcoming native authorities election within the state.
The authorities additionally disclosed that native authorities areas within the state will contribute a complete of N2,566,800,000 to fund the election.
The authorities disclosed this on Tuesday in a press release signed by the Commissioner for Information, Dotun Oyelade.
“The sum of ₦2,566,800,000 (Two billion, 5 hundred and sixty-six million, eight hundred thousand naira) shall be paid by the LGAs, whereas the state will foot the stability of ₦1,711,200,000 (one billion, seven hundred and eleven million, 200 thousand naira),” the assertion stated.
