President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, has attacked the NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi over his feedback that Nigeria could be a lot richer if leaders saved public funds in banks.
Reacting in a put up on X, Onanuga accused Obi of claiming what he doesn’t practise, mentioning the Panama Papers leak, which he linked to alleged offshore property and enterprise holdings related to Obi throughout his time as Anambra State governor.
“Peter Obi just likes saying what he doesn’t practise. Remember the Panama papers?” Onanuga wrote.
He went on to mock Obi as “Saint Peter,” accusing him of “pontificating” to his followers.
